Honestly, I am a South sudanese young man born and brought up in Gumuruk county of greater Pibor administrative Area. I born from a humble pastoralists family all my parents are staying in the village. My father got married to many wives (3) of which my mother was his first wife. With my mother they possess seven children where I am five (5) child to my parents. When I grew up as Young boy I find out my three elderly sister were been married off to their husbands home but still they can seek for some assistance from my parents while watching how my father was struggling to Carter for his huge family and seeing messed all over, and one day it happened that I had an opportunity to visit town with my steps mother. After I reached town I went to one of the near by school I saw children wear school uniforms, playing football and doing some other activities I admire the culture of their games and started loving it. While in Gumuruk also, I went to church for prayers from there I find the choirs praising God and dancing I realized the life in town is so amazing and when I went back home I told my father to send me to school. He refused by saying that I should stay in the village and take care of our cattle. I hardly resisted that I should study I keep asking him until he finally allowed me to study. I enrolled in primary where my father used to sold a cow to buy me school uniforms also to pay my school fees and the rest of school demands. I continued in that lifestyle until 2013 -2014 when I went to Kakuma Kenya as refugee was when my father died I pushed it alone in refugee school and in 2019 was when I came and sat for my secondary examination. Life was challenging all along. Therefore, I am considering to be assisted in Pass scholarship for I'm unable to pay for my tuition fees and also the other expenses which are required. I'm passionate about the journalism and I want to tell the world about the uncovering stories, and the South Sudan history.
