My name is Baal Nyelo Guzulu, South Sudanese national. Aged 24, Murle by tribe. I have been sponsored by my uncle who was a civil servant which he subsequently lost in early 2018.
My father passed away in 2006 and my mother and my other siblings are in village. I am the only educated person out of 8 children to our father. I have no means of pursuing my college studies since I have no one sponsor my studies. My mother who is of age old has no job and she stays in the village taking care of my other siblings.

I appeal to PADOC organization to help me continue with my higher learning as I work hard to fulfill my aspirations in the academic field. I wanted to study and help give back service to the community and act as agent for change in the community. I see education as a key factor for community's transformation and building a community resilience.

Baal is a member of the Murle community. Baal is single and lives in a household of 11 people. His father is deceased. His mother is a farmer and has eight cows. He graduated from Golden High School and scored 71.5% on the national exam.
